Re: Project Never Ends

Come to nats, you can take all the pics you want. Right now progress being made, hopefully even more this weekend. problem is all the stuff that doesn't show in pictures.

It has a fuel system now, battery cable is mostly run. Tires get mounted sometime this weekend, maybe tomorrow. All the little stuff now.

It will be at nats in some form though just probably not drivable unless someone feels like running brake lines in the parking lot.

Re: Project Never Ends

This weekend made some good progress, not as much as I wanted but do you ever?

Not going to say what stage I am at though, you will just have to wait for nats. It will be there.

I will mention the 4 link is going to go through some changes, now that is it toghether some things I don't like. Rear end will be replaced soon with a 8.5" I doubt the stocker will last long.

Re: Project Never Ends

Been busy and sidetracked with life.

Finishing up a few projects for some syty folks, then working on ty in between as time allows. I did play with the brake prop valve mount, and the front brake brackets so I can think about ordering brake lines.

New goal is to drive it on or before Jan 23rd. Weather permitting as I don't think this truck will see rain/snow much unless I get stuck in it.

I wanna hear aboot the girlfriend's yard. And pics.

So what do you want to know? Dogs can only get to half of it now, so next summer you can walk out there without landminds on your shoes and the grass that was planted might last this time.

Want pics of the fence? Dog crap piles? There is no deer back there Jimmy so your truck would actually be safe.

Re: Project Never Ends

Ok back on track with the truck. Last night I made some progress. Felt good to be back in the garage working on it and moving forward. The intercooler is now mounted, and I have the pipe from the intercooler to TB mocked up and tacked. I am finally happy with it.

Got the fenders back off for the last time to finish up the little details, routing pipes, cleaning up some wires, etc. Even ordered some of the brake parts yesterday.

Goal is to actually drive the truck next month.

My to do list to drive it now shows 30hrs, which we all know is double or triple that. But 30hrs sounds very doable with only working 1 day next week at my real job, gives me time to finish some things I have stacked up on my truck and a few projects for everybody else.
