Hey Jeff.. I haven't been on SyTy in a while but wanted to chime in and say I am jealous as hell of this project!! It's exactly what I had in mind for my truck in the future, the difference is you have the gift of fabrication and I don't! Small block chevy, turbocharged, WITH A/C and cruise!!! Hell Yeah
I give you a huge two thumbs up... keep up the good work. That thing looks like it's getting damn close to running.
PS: Do all the stock SyTy accessories and brackets bolt right up to the SBC?

It is getting closer. Finally got the oil pan to fit and clear diff, but working on some other things aside from my ty right now. Headers are at swain though.
Some parts showed up yesterday I needed. Hopefully september won't come too fast and I can get it running.

Yes the brackets bolt up and I kept them to keep some of the syty flavor into the build. I want it to look in some way like a factory prototype.

Updated another site so figured I would update here also.
For intercooler, I bought 2 a/w cores from Ebay. Blended them into 1, will be mounted below core support, behind bumper. 2 inlets 1 outlet to the pipe I have partially done.
No more torsion bars.
Had to make a custom cam for the cable, as the wilson 90mm TB is setup for linkage. Glad to have a lathe and mill to get these things done.
And here is the truck as it sat tonight. I did get the mockup trans in, and transfercase adaptor. Transfer case is next once a buddy shows up to help.
Got some other projects to get done in garage before I can do much more, but should be back on it soon.

Headers are back from Swain. Total cost was just a bit over $300 + shipping.

While reading and playing with software I figured out I can use it to send a pulse width out based on Map and drive a simple amp to control an alky pump for meth injection.
Truck goes to exhaust shop on Tuesday for downpipes, exhaust.
Headers are back from Swain. Total cost was just a bit over $300 + shipping.

So what do you have to do to make a D/P fit the drivers side, I've looked before to try and figure it out and there ain't no room there.

There is room, just not a lot.
If you saw the V8 TT sy at nats, his goes down then crosses over to pass side. I plan to do dual exiting in the stock place with magnaflows etc. Told the exhaust guy I want it quiet without being restrictive. From the outside I don't want many people to know what is going on until they are reading my license plate.
So it is possible, and due to my schedule and the exhaust guy having a SS mandrel bender on site (i will get pics) I am just going to let him get it done.
