in middle of swapping steering boxes, pitman, shaft and shaft bearing, im going to swap the idler also since im doing everything else. I was just curious the idler should only rotate while carring the rod not have the ability to rotate vertically like it was a ball joint, is this correct...

Re: Front swaybar i prefer to have one, the last car i had i removed it to get better weight transfer when drag racing to that effect it was great. as for high speed turns and general driving it sucked. i eventually put it back in.

Re: (3) 2001 zq8 quick ratio steering box's $140 shipped each got my old box off and put new pitman on zq8 box and compared the lock to lock between the two. Stock - 3.5 turns lock to lock My Zq8 - 3 turns lock to lock from going thru all 27 pages i noticed some discrepancies between each ZQ8...

Re: 160 thermostat issue dash gauges suck. i have a 160 and my dash temp gauges shows its only running 100* or so when the truck is actually running 165-170*.
