Re: Shooting for 11's tomorrow!
I couldn't launch my truck at 12-15 psi. Every truck has different variables, stickiness of the tires, stall speed, tightness of the converter, tune of the motor, turbo spool up, air flow of the motor, even the track condition and weather. I try to tune by 'give the engine was what it want not what you think it needs' The same can said for tuning the launch, you have to learn to adjust.
Re: Shooting for 11's tomorrow!
I would launch it in the 12 to 15 lb range. This is what I did with mine. You already have gained some mph! 25/26 lbs seamed to be the sweet spot with my truck with 26degrees timing. Seemed pretty safe with my truck. Remember mine finally decided to let go at aprox 32to33 lbs! So you've still got quite a bit more left in it!
