Looking really good. Do you still have a cell phone that will still use that antenna in the back window? If so which one?

Kinda funny you ask. Wanna buy a cradle for a Verizon Motorola RAZR V3 flip phone?
We have family property in Montana where cell coverage can be sketchy, so 12 years ago I found a company called SmoothTalker, which still makes cradles for different phones. It charges and makes antenna connection. In my Tahoe, I have a cradle that goes into a 3 watt booster, which makes a difference in some of those dead zones. This cradle is going away this week, but I will save the Moto blue tooth kit for a spare. The new Alpine deck has bluetooth built in, so I thought I'd clean up the dash, being I don't hardly use it in this truck.
I do need to step into the 21st century and update my phone, but I hate smart phones. I work outdoors and I like the compact flip of the Razr V3. I need to check with Smoothtalker to see what is available for which phones to keep the Mt coverage.

Re: X-cab Sy

Just an update for those still interested. Since last year trying to eliminate heat and throttle shuddering. Spun the intake bonnet 180*, unwrapped the pipe and polished it. Replaced the TPS, IAC, and the lower temp sensor(broken connector). Changed the MSD coil for a stock one. Built a scoop for the larger intercooler. Thought that fixed it, but it still pukes out at anything more than 1/2 throttle. It does run cooler though. I think I need a custom tune. Tried to go one piece driveline being the ext cab has carrier. Not enough clearance, but did get a confirmation that the carrier bearing was toast. Replaced. Painted that up this weekend. Hopefully that takes care of the excell/decell vibration. Summer is upon us. Happy motoring.

Is that a wynjammer? What ecm are you running? I looked into dynamic efi ebl flash computer for whenever I get around to installing the Whipple charger on my Jimmy.

Re: X-cab Sy

Adam, no. The driveline is still hanging drying. I'll give it another day.
Yep, Wynjammer. I may have pushed the chip that came with the blower by adding intercooler and bigger fuel pump, with the vacuum referenced adjustable regulator, and modifying the TBI for more air flow. I had the injectors cleaned and flow matched. I put in an analog gauge hooked to a PLX wideband, so it bounces around. The last drive showed max lean under excelleration, but would cruise around 15.5. Maybe bump up fuel a bit.

Re: X-cab Sy

It's been awhile since an update, but being I'm running a household by my lonesome now, free time is at a critical minimum.
Replaced destroyed motor mounts with the slightly stronger 'Jagsthatrun' 2WD. What a pain-in-the-patooty. Discovered that the Edelbrock exhaust tube was bumping into the upper control arm on the passenger side with the effed up motor mounts. Had to fix the heat wrap on that side. Assumed that my 'bogging while full throttle' was false knock retard with the exhaust hitting the control arm. Finished the air-to-air fan wiring, and like the end result. Looks somewhat factory. Isn't perfect looking, but if you don't know any better......
Only had time for one good run, only to discover that it still sputters a bit under full throttle. Next is to boost the fuel pressure a bit more to see what that does.
Anyone recommend a good OBD 1 & 2 reader??? I'm ready to buy one. I'm wondering if a lean reading is registering w/o a check engine light coming on, being the PLX has been showing 16-18 at any given time on A/F on average. I still don't know how accurarte this is.
Sucks that summer is almost gone without much play time.

Glad to see your still working on the truck and how is the ankle treating you and why are you running the house by yourself ?

This part doesn't sound good.

Ankle is getting worse. I need to get back into the Dr.
Work feels that they like operating at 99% during slow times, so we can't be proactive. Then when it gets busy, they throw us into forced OT.
A divorce almost 2 years ago. And with work so busy, a bad ankle and all the daily chores inside and outside of the house....., well.....not much me time.

Sorry to here about your ankle as I have been there with a bad back and fought it for years. Finally did the ice back therapy and that actually helped. With an ankle it is much easier as you just submerge it in a bucket of ice water 2 to 3 times a day to help bring the swelling down in the inflamed tissue cause by the joint impingement. In the end it's old school therapy and it actually worked on the two bulging disks I had in my back. I have used this concept for many injuries since learning of it back in the 80's. I even used it on my elbow post surgery as the surgery didn't seem to help much. I severed the ulnar nerve when I dislocated my elbow and yes that freaking hurt. Good thing I was intoxicated when that happened.

Bummer on the Divorce as that can take a toll on a person mentally and physically.
