Project Executioner

  • Goal: To Build a reliable, high Hp/Tq, Stock Looking, Syclone capable of executing all street contenders

  • Expected Results: 8's on street tires & 1500hp+

  • Time Frame: Stage One (1000hp) - 90 Days, Stage two (1200hp) - 14 Days, Stage three (1500+) - 30 Days

Hello, I have been away from the SyTy community for several years. I have dropped by and posted a few times here and there but no major projects until now. Back in 2006 I started Project Insanity and it was all going well till I had to make a few changes in my life. With all that settled I am now investing 50k+ into this new project. I have a goal and I will meet it and I am sure I will have a few unforeseen issues along the way with parts not cooperating as the Hp/Tq starts raising.

I am starting with a Dart SHP LS Next 427 stroker and a 2.9 Whipple. This combo will get me to my first goal of 1000hp on pump gas. I will then be changing over to ALKY injection and a 200 shot before going to the 4.5 Whipple. What will be the interesting part is the 1000+ foot lbs tq that will be almost instant.

I will be taking plenty of pictures and videos and will post them along the way.

This will be at LS Fest this year in BG, Ky Sept 9, 10, & 11. I have the time and ability to complete this goal without distractions so let the games begin !!!

*** Make sure you stop by Darts tent at LS Fest this year and check out my syclone. It will be done and there on display. I got the invite ***

Here is the base Syclone (#434) already with several nice modifications.

Re: Project Executioner

Glad things have been so successful with your business to enable you to tackle this dream. If the finished product is equal to your incredible multicade games in attention to detail (which I am sure it will be), you will have a awesome looking monster

Re: Project Executioner

...don't know if your intending to overdrive the Whipple in the beginning, but
if so check with factory beforehand about the belt issues. We've been running
our LS7 Stroker build for a couple years and love the results in the Ty. A couple
friends are running a magnuson with great results also. Have fun

Re: Project Executioner

A V6 is also required to be a Syclone, otherwise it's just a cool looking S15 with a bad arse V8...just saying

Re: Project Executioner

Are those C7 Z06 wheels. Got any more pics?

No they are actually RPM 505 wheels with like new tires on them. I took them off and they are sitting in the other room. They are listed on the for sale page in my signature below. I ordered new custom wheels for the truck. They are not here yet. For now I have a set of the chrome ZR-1 17x 11 & 17x9.5 wheels on it.

Will be using the New Dart SHP LS Next iron block, Darts LS heads, and Darts new billet LS crank. Lets see what this new setup will hold.

Re: Project Executioner

Nice! I have a rhs 440 going in another project. What do you have to do to rearend/tcase/front axles to withstand that kind of power?

  • Moser Custom built rear-end
  • Stock T-case (looking into the gear drive Saab unit)
  • Custom made front axles
