Looks rad, nice custom work...can't wait to see how you route the turbo intake/exhaust. Maybe the intake will come out the hood, big scoop or something :lol: Really I have no idea but I like where you've gone so far. You're just not allowed to be faster than my truck or I'm gonna have to put in some work too!!!

The air filter will be on the turbo, intake from turbo to fmic will go under the turbo. We will have to go to the track sometime

He cant help himself...hes a hater.....EVILTWIN, you are doin a bang up job on a budget....I love the fact that you are sticking to it....engineering is a series of compromises....dont let anyone knock what youre doin. Great job!

ok back on topic

finished the down pipe today. turbo is in there for good.

things left to do

1. bolt in wastegate, hookup vac line
2. turbo to intercooler pipe
3. hook up oil lines
4. tune
5. go to track

You did all this a lot faster than a typical shop would do it in plus saved mucho $$$$.

Hope it runs good,it's all in the tune.:tup:

got the wastegate on today. started to make the turbo to intercooler pipe too. It will run on the outside of the downpipe on the inside of the fender, down to the bottom of the core support to the intercooler. have some parts coming in the mail tomorrow to finish the job. Also have an appointment on Friday to get it tuned. If everything works it will be seeing the track on Saturday :lol:

have you kept track of the build cost thus far?

curious to see how much a budget build costs, afraid to ask what an all out build would cost

no break in miles on the motor before the tune?

its on the trailer and ready for a tune. hopefully the weather isnt too bad

there has been a slight change of plans. cant get the awd dyno so it will be tuned on the street if the weather is good this afternoon.
