Last night on the way home from buying some movies, we pull up at a light next to this guy in a Blue hatch back STi. He started asking if it was a Typhoon we were in and we confirmed his suspicions. So I asked him if he wanted to go for it and he gave me the hell yeah. So I am waiting for the light and we we go green. Well I wasn't expecting the guy on the crotch rocket next to us to race as well. I held both of them off up to about 70 before letting off. The bike was starting to reel me in but the STi was still a good 4 cars back. We caught the next light and he said he had a bad launch, not my bad man! :lol:

Excuses excuses. There are lots of sti's around here. Haven't had the opportunity to run one yet. I know they're kinda quick. Does a sy/Ty beat em?

You'll have to excuse Mike. He's a little gun shy about posting kills since everyone always doubts what he has killed. Nice kills man.

Those days are over I think. Eric (Smoosh), asked me why I let it bother me. My first thought was that it doesn't "bother me". I just for some reason feel the need to defend myself. After seeing what has been going on around here lately I see it like this, it really doesn't matter who doubts me and why or what they really think of me. I know where I am and I know where I go and I know what I do. I have never been much for exaggeration and have always been a very honest person. So I decided, if the noobs and others that drove me to stop posting kills had that power, what am I really saying by actually stopping the posts? I'll just be me, it's more fun that way:lol: And all of the people who ever doubt me really can just come out and take a ride with us I guess. Not sure what else to ever say.

Keep Tearing them up. I love hearing the stories. Someone would be really desperate to tell lies all the time. I am always shocked at how much controversy comes from this Forum. I bet the underwater basket weaving forums dont even sound this bad. Worse than chicks, from what I see.

Dude I hear ya. Look at my last "kill" post. I got tore up on it. Finally just had to do what you said.
"Not care what anyone else thinks". I know it happened. Thats all that really matters. Keep killin, it's what these trucks are made for!.....:tup:

Depends on what he was on. There's not a bike around that is gonna be a threat out of the hole (and I speak from 34 years of riding experiance), Within a second or two, that most likely will quickly change. Watch out for the new BMW S1000RR (almost 200 HP). I ride a Yamaha R1 and the BMW is touted to be able to tame it!!

Wow congrats on holding a bike and the STI off.. I havent tried to race anything that was all wheel drive turbo.. Guess I call that my insecurity.. Id much rather bring a gun to a knife fight..lol

I believe the 5spd WRX (2009 or later) is actually faster than the higher end STi.
