Over the years, I've seen 3 other GTs here (black #472, blue and red). Mine's black...runs well, but needs more HP. Need a few more parts before I can start a Synoma GT thread. :wink:

All the way down. Now that would be a kick ass addition to a sy...I wouldn't mind being able to roll down the back window on my ty kind of like the old broncos.

My Jeep's rear window does that. It even has a defroster on it. I think it's a lot cooler on a Sy though.

The Marlboro's came with them.

I paid $750 for a used one for the sonoma gt project

Installation pics! Hope somebody will find it useful.

Backside of the Blazer/Jimmy 4-window switch.

Bulky and expensive 10-way connector from GM. I decided not to splice wires into the original harness, so I ended up cutting this connector and only using a part of it.

Cheaper route would be to add a salvage yard, 2-switch connector and make a second harness.

Used a wire hanger to fish the new wires through the kick panel grommet (%^@#*@ PITA).

Shot of the kick panel grommet from the inner fender. Great place to slice/scrape your hand.

Shot of the new wires wrapped in harness tape and the modified 4-switch connector.

Finished. Might use the 4th switch for my power antenna, possibly my exhaust cutout, or maybe two ghost/security circuits.

That's agreat way to add a couple of switches and retain factory look. I think I know where the switches for manual control of my ELC are going to be....

The one that is in the Marlboro or the extra one that is sitting on my garage floor. I finally decided to sell it. It looks like it won't work with the current mods that my truck is about to undergo.
