Will have to make some kind of structural support for the core support itself (its a bit flimsy), but that's for later.

when I hard bolted my air to air into mine it became stiff enough to be what I would call safe. Its hard to say from the pics but I think I cut away alot more than you did.

Wanted to get her fired up in the hole today. Still have to figure out the serpentine belt routing/tensioning situation, clean up the wiring/vac lines/etc, and other little crap.



Then its off to the cage builder!

Where you been? this is anything but a Street truck. I have driven in Alex's last beast And yet to drive in anything that fast! This is more like Drag Truck. Can't wait to ride in it at Shindig. This truck is def. not for the faint of heart, I almost crapped myself last time I was in it.

back in 2010 I did not feel like putting a cage in my truck. 2 years later I'm making a lot more power and I feel it would be far safer in the event of an accident. I hope I never have to test my roll cage. I still expect to Street drive this truck everywhere I can.

Finishing up the exhaust install on the truck. 4" downpipe and full exhaust. It will hug the outside framerail like my old 3" setup did. Muffler is a Dynomax Ultraflo. Open exhaust was a wee bit too loud for the street (tried it....WAY too loud). This should tone it down just enough to not raise any eyebrows while on the street, yet its straight-through design (supposedly) flows over 2000cfm with no power loss. We'll see about that!

No concerns about that exhaust running so close to the cladding that it might melt?
