redid my exhaust. added a QTP elec cutout to the midpipe, and ran from my muffler, over the diff to another muffler, then out to a ss Cuda tip. Just gotta weld on some hangers now.

Wiped off the 1/4" of yellow pollen , cleaned the wheels/tires, and started him up ... drove about 5 miles ---

day two of vacation.....installed the battery box in the bed. pass side all the way back by the tail gate. its a weather tight box. im pretty happy with the finished install.

also ordered my mini starter, ford selinoid (sp), spark plug boot covers, and two 45 mandrel bent pipes to finish up the lower a2a pipping.

Thanks brandon. Im sure you dont remember me, but I talked to you at the flashlight drags in Zeilly 2008. I was driving a 97 ext cab zq8 that was that dumb smokey carmel color. I told ya I was gonna get a sy!

:rant: Lost a wheel, and left rear corner cladding on the Sy, barely a mile from home.:rant: Don't know if it was my handywork or not, but all lugnuts came off the adapter, and wheel nearly came off the truck. Didn't know the cladding was torn off until I heard some passing cars running over it in the dark. Will post pics once I get back home. Anyone got a good piece of cladding, close by? Casey, give me a call when you see this.

I changed my fuel pump to a walbro unit, also put in the Racetronix kit since I was in there. Ball joints are next.

Just got back from picking my Ty up from the tint shop! Once the tint dries and I can clean it up, I'll get some pics up. Looks sharp so far, though.

ran the -8 fuel line and -6 return line. tried to mount the tank but came up with some options. none of which really pleased me.

got my summit delivery. mounted my ford selenoid. ran my pos bat line to the ford selenoid.

also got my lower pipping mocked up.

productive day. ill post up some pics in my build thread.

Bummer to hear that Steve. You're alright & the Sy is still running w/ minimal damage. :shocked!:
Happened to me in my '74 Capri moving to Phoenix. Lost all the lugnuts on drivers rear. Drum dropped to the inside of rim & slowed from 50mph to stop as fast as I could. No body damage, still scared the piss out of me!

Finally got the last two center caps off, took the lock smith all of 5 mins. Then talked about the damn truck for another 30-35 with everyone there who was interested in it. lol

Maybe you should leave the SyTy repair for your wife to do, she seem pretty handy when I met her at Pittsburg :2cents:
