Tried for the millionth time to get the purple wire on the AC blower nice and tight. This after it cut out again in the boiling hot sun! I still don't think I got it. :( Would hate to cut it and put a regular terminal but I might have to if it cuts out again.

I had an issue with my fan working intermittenly (sp?) and the dealer replaced the motor then the relay....lastly they cleaned the contacts on the HVAC controls and problem solved. Old partsin the garbage...yea they were bad. Take thetime to actually diagnose the problem.....assholes.

Pulled the accessory bracket and down pipe last night. Tonight is the turbo, manifolds, AC and tensioner brackets and possibly the intake.

Cleaned the engine bay. The car has been outdoors ever since new. One day I'll remove the brackets and repaint them, but I did manage to strip and repaint the dipstick since the paint was cracking and falling off.

Put in the new stall converter and douched tranny back in the sy. Put her back on the ground and backed her out of the garage.

Man she needs a bath and wax :D

I couldnt find any dirt on them anywhere . Ls f-body & diesel crowd seem to like them. I guess ill be the ginny pig for the SY/TY crowd. Oh well, I cant wait to beable to launch this thing again!! My stock conv sucks with my new turbo 2.5lbs max against the brakes.

Took her to the salvage yard to check out what they had there...last chance for me to stretch her legs today before I have to put her to bed for 2 months while I'm in school in VA. :(

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

bled all the brakes (again :( ) tried to get the wastegate to work properlyand then tried to bleed the intercooler system.

Turns out the hose connecting the intercooler to the throttle body was loose! Tightened it up and immediately felt the difference. Instant spool and 20 psi before I let off. Damn it's fast again!

Props to Big Mike and Sy 1193 for putting up with me all day! They're great to hang out with and really generous with their time.
