It looks like there will definately be a second batch and I still have a couple fans available. When they are gone I don't think I will be able to get any more. The mounting kit is not a problem (other than WP pulley bolts) and could do a batch of them just about anytime. I really didn't think there would be this much interest or I would have gotten more fans.
Also, a couple people have been asking about controllers. I mentioned it in both threads that I will NOT be offering a controller becasue of varrious different set-ups. Personally I will be going one of two differetn ways. I'll either add a large cap similar to what is used in car audio or a box that gradually speeds up the fan . Both should keep the initial surge away from the system when the fan kicks on. Do a search... many different set-ups have been discussed. You just have to choose the one that you feel will work best for you.

All of the original batch have been spoken for. 5 of them will go out in a few hours from now (Thurs. morning) and the rest will go out Monday providing the water pump pulley bolts arrive on time. I was only able to get enough for 5 kits but was assured that more would be available by the weekend.QUICK STORM said:

OK...most of the paid orders have been shipped out. I have two to ship, one here that is getting the full treatment that should go out later this week when I can make time and the other will go the same day if I can find or make a box for it. SO... if you just recently made payment it's probably not shipped yet.
UPDATE: I knew this would happen if I rushed these but I have another upgrade for the kits. I got a new toy on order and this is a perfect opportunity to try it out. I will soon have a bead roller which I think will certainly dress the top plate up a bit and add more strength. I really wish I ahd decided to get it sooner, but I didn't. If it works out, any of you that have your kits on the way are welcome to get the bead rolling done, just pay the shipping. I'll keep you posted here if it works out and post a pic.
Other than that, I tested the kit install following the short instruction sheet that I printed and I think I got everything. If youhave any questions at all I'll be more than happy to help. hopefully I'll get the full size pics up by the weekend since they are knda small in the kit.

OK guys, I must confess that I have been a little lazy with the kits these last few days because I'm waiting to get my bead roller. I am really hoping that the aluminum is soft enough to roll so I can add a little strength to the top plate.
I have a couple paid orders that I am holding out on shipping because of this as well. If you haven't gotten your kit and you are in a hurry, please Email me jon@mirradographics.com and I will ship it out right away without the bead. Otherwise, bear with me and I will get it out to you asap. I was expecting the roller today but nodice. Hopefully tomorrow so i can practice a bit and see if it is going to work. If it does, I will try to get them all rolled and packaged up over the weekend so I can ship on Monday or Tuesday.

I will be putting mine in over the weekend. I ordered the dc control setup, hopefully it will be here in time. I'll take pics and let you know how it goes. I can't wait to follow those nifty little instructions! they look like they took a lot of time. :tup:

It's pretty straight forward, I'm sure you probably won't even need them.

Just incase the included instructions aren't good enough... I'm uploading the file. it's rather large (10mb I think) and may take a minute to load but you can just print it out once it does. Here's the link... FAN KIT INSTALLATION

haha...That isn't a drawback....It means the fan works!! I was checking out Bruces ramchargers again this past weekend and the ramchargers to volvo fan is like comparing a ceiling fan to one of those patton high velocity pedestal fans.... :lol: Notice how my fan turns on "after" the truck starts? Thats a function/setting in our ecm for the intercooler pump....Alot of ultimates already come programmed that way to turn on the factory intercooler pump and run it at all times (electronically hotwired)....I daily drive my truck and run my fan continuously and it works flawlessly...I wired it up using twin cheap bosch relays....I noticed that Bruce's ramchargers harness melted the fuse and fuse holder....what a bunch of crap.....
P.S. the buzzing sound you hear when I turn the key forward is not the fan.....It's my loud external fuel pump....

Yeah i was thinking it was going to be much worse, and i presume your running it at 100%, so with my controller running them at 60%they should be alot less noisy. Im going to be very happy with this setup over the ramchargers setup that was on my truck.
