I ordered the dccontrols pk60 controller... Once I get my fan+kit and the controller.. It should install easy!! I hope!!

Once you get the radiator out (I hear it's a bitch) it will all go back in smooth and comfortably. You may also notice a little more room for wrenching.:tup: Let us all know how it went.Syclone Rob said:

haha, the hard part was getting to all the connections with the dumb lower shroud in place. Then getting the lower shroud out. Taking the lower CCHE out first would make this easier but I did that the day before and wasn't feeling it. Putting everything back in with out the dumb shroud was 100 times easier.

Hey Jon, i need an update as to how and when you shipped my fan kit out, i thought you said it went out Priority mail, and that was like a week and a half ago, well i went to the post office tonite to see if it was sitting up there, they have done that before and nover left a notice, but there was nothing there.
I was hoping to have it in the truck by now, so please let me know if you did ship it priority mail and insured it i need any and all numbers on the reciept so they can try and track it and see where it is at.

Yeah im thinking i should have gotten mine around the same time, but im afraid the dam USPS has lost it or something.

No, i still have not recieved my fan kit yet, i did get an email response from Jon, and he said he sent it out Priority mail, but did not insure it, so there is not any kind of tracking number they can trace it with.
I shipped a shifter to a guy in canada back on the 9th and sent it Airmail Parcel Post, which should be like 4-9 days they said, and he just got it yesterday, 19 days total. So maybe my kit will show up here sometime, who knows. Joh said he was going to have to get another kit together and fan and ship it to me again, and take a lose, but im not sure when he is going to ship it out.
Hopefully soon, i hate having the stock clutch fan on there and no shroud.

It's all my fault that I am behind and I sincerely apologize for that. I went through a couple top plate blanks trying to get the bead rolling to turn out nicely but the metal was just too thick. That ran me short on pieces to complete the needed kits.
I'm suposed to be loading the SY up and heading out of state this Saturday with it but I can't even get it out of the garage yet. Gonna be a LOOOONG weekend for me. I gotta work 2 full days at the regular job, get the garage cleared out, weld up an exhaust, get 3 fan kits together, load up the SY, sleep and watch the baby between now and 3am Saturday morning. that doesn't count and vinyl orders or Email that comes in before then.
In an attempt to make things right, Anyone that has paid for a kit more than 3 weeks before this Monday (mar 6) I will offer you a refund up to $20 ($10 kit + 10 fan) or a windshield banner of your choice. I'll do my best to get the remaining kits out Monday and HOTROD... yours will be at the TOP of the list. If you get the second kit, please refuse delivery or mark "return to sender" so I can make it available to someone else.
I want to take this oportunity to thank everyone for their patience and understanding. I never meant to be making all of these kits, just thought I'd help out a few members that also bought the Volvo fan since I was making one for my truck. Thanks Guys!

Hey Joh, i appreciate everything you have done, and if something happens and the first kit shows up ill be sure to return it to you ASAP. Also no need to give me any money back as i wouild have paid more for the kit, it looks so nice i cant wait to get it installed.
Also, i wanted to find out if you had enough supplies and another fan assembly that you could put one more kit together, as id like to have the same kit to mount the radiator in my GT. I understand if you need to raise the price alittle, just let me know if your willing to make one more kit for me and ill send you the MO.
Thanks again for all youve done, i know how hard it can be to have to dig otu of your own pocket to make things right when the USPS is at fault. Ive been there dont that a couple times myself.
Also another local Ty owner and member here Bill Z had ordered just the mounting kit and no fan and he hasnt recieved his kit yet either, i was talking to him the other day and he mentioned it but im not sure if he has contacted you or not, so i thought i would just let you know about it.

Your friend may be one of the two that i still need to send if his payment was after the first week or so of Feb. I'll have to print out the PayPal recipts and see. Sometimes it's tough to match the names up between here and PayPal. I'll have all the answers when I return Monday.
PS... I know I have a few plates that have not been drilled but I'm no sure if they are for the top or bottom. I promised my spare fan to someone already and there is a chance that I'll be able to get a couple more, but no guarantees. I'll have those answeres Monday as well.
