OK, I got the kit completed and it seems to work out great!

Everything is very solid and snugs up real tight. there are NO gaps between mounting points on the radiator or the fan. None of the hardware needed to be more than 1/2 inch long if that helps explain how well this fan works on our trucks. You can see pictures HERE and I will eventually type up some installation instructions... but it's pretty straight forward.

Pricing will be as follows and I will have the first of the kits ready to ship by this weekend... Jan. 16th at the latest. They will be shipped on a first paid - first shipped basis but you must be on the dibbs list that I have created from the thread and Email/PM's. I still have 2 kits w/fan that are un-spoken for and will be available once I get everyone taken care of from the thread. (Just in case I missed someone) If demand calls for it I will make a second batch available sometime in Feb.

KIT ONLY will be $65 + Shipping (PayPal will add this automatically)
FAN ONLY will be $65 + Shipping (I doubt anyone will be interested here)
KIT + FAN will be $110 + Shipping ($150 if you want me to trim off all the tabs)

NOTE: Because of the many different posibilities, there is NO CONTROLER included with the kit.

Oh yea... I almost forgot to post a pic of everything you get.
I will try to get that up for you tomorrow.... basically it's...

Top plate that mounts radiator and fan
Bottom plate that mounts radiator
ALL necessary hardware to mount everything including the water pump bolts.

YOU will need to...
clean up the fan by removing all of the tabs
use your stock radiator rubber mounting pads
use your stock bolts and slipnuts from the lower fan shround
drill holes in fan housing for mounting (KIT ONLY... I will do this for the FAN+KIT)

Hey Jon, i want one of these kits, but wont have th ecash till next month, so put me down for the second batch of kits, and it want the whole shooting match, fan plus kit with the tabs shaved off the fan. I also have a very nice temp sensor controlled controller that will work very nice with this kit.

This is a much cleaner install than the ramchargers dual setup on my truck now, they work, but i want a cleaner setup.

Ill probably have the cash for you in the biginning of next month. Thanks

No problem and I may be interested in your controller set-up. I'm going to experiment with the caps that high power car stereos use. If it flops I'll be in the market for a decent controller.

I think the obvious answer is no, but...

Will the stock air intake fit over this? so that all that lovely SMOG stuff can be hooked up for inspection?

Yes, I have had the stock air tube sitting over it but not actually all hooked up. I'll be testing that this weekend just to be sure it still fits like it's suposed to because that is what I plan on running for now.

I'm running a volvo fan daily in my syclone...The volvo fan moves serious air and is LOUD...you can totally hear it running over an idling syty engine....A friend with a ramchargers fan came down last week....I couldn't even hear the ramchargers fan running....I said "turn on the fan!" he said "it is on!!".....he was right....Also, I have a heavy towel draped over my washer and drier in the garage.....When I pull my syclone in, the towel starts waving around towards the front of my truck due to the air that the volvo fan is pulling through the grill....true story....I decided to run twin relays and so far it's working out...no meltage yet....I recommend installing an led light to let you know when it's on....If your running an ultimate chip, there's an easy way to make it turn on about 2 seconds after the truck starts using the stock I/C pump trigger wire.....

For anyone that goes this route, I recommend buying a spare fan or two while they're around....This fan is only cheap now....once the recall units are gone, you can probably find a replacement for around 200 to 300 dollars I would imagine....these are quality units....

I have 5 of them going out int he morning and 3 more as soon as I find some more water pump pulley bolts. Unfortunate for you I will be sending them out in the order I received payment. That's the fairest way I can do it. That's all I have currently becasue I altered things a bit for a better top mounting set-up and wasted a couple pieces of the aluminum. I do have one kit that is still fairly decent, but it was a sample for mock-up purposes. Not sure if you'd be interested it hat one or not. I'll be putting at least 5 more together on my weekend but I wanted to be sure and get these out before I started a new batch.

Sorry everyone, kits did not go out Monday as I had planned.
I tried a new method for mounting the top and I am much happier with it. If you knew the previous way I'm sure you'd agree that it's an improvement. The change made a much tighter and solid install and now there is virtually zero play in any of the components. BEST of all... the entire set-up including radiator can be removed in about 2 minutes ALL from the top of the truck. No more getting underneath for anything. Ok, so the drain plug is hard to reach and the hoses may take a little time but you know what I mean.

Anyway, Here are a couple pics of kits that I will package up and ship out Guaranteed as soon as possible. I apologize once again for delays but I want to be sure that the fan stays where it belongs.

PS... If you are getting a fan from me, it will look like the one on the left. You will have to trim the tabs off so it looks like the one on the right.
