Let's see, 579 miles x 2 = 1,158 miles/ 8mpg = 144.75 gallons x $3.75/gallon = $542.81 in gas alone. Think I'll have to sit this one out being that I'm unemployed right now.

Ha ha I wish it's still a work in progress! Maybe next year though. I am shooting for completion for ocean city hotrod weekend in the fall.

Put me down as a maybe and i'm looking to carpool with someone. (truck wouldn't make it) Will certainly contribute $$ for gas.
Looking forward to seeing an engine install if it happens...and otherwise there to learn....since i'm stuck with this project truck. :roll:

I would love to ride down. I have talked to Tom from Sportmachines about it.
I will trailer down the Typhoon. Needs tuning (big stuff 3) due to to new turbo,throttlebody and such. I also need to learn some stuff. Thanks

Steve - if your truck needs work maybe this is the time and place to bring it to get fixed? Just out of curiosity what does the truck need or what is the problem with it? keep me posted if i can help. Feel free to bring it to my house i wouldn't mind working on it if you need help.:tup:

Thanks Vin, that's very nice of you. But this truck is not driving anywhere for a while. Has a nasty knocking and needs to be opened up. That's the cliff note version.
If Matt was a few miles away, it would be sweet. As of now, I have tentative plans to tear into over winter. So...no truck this year.

Aww man, I'd love to come to this. Even without my truck just to say hi, help out, and learn. But i've already made plans for that day. Hope you guys have fun and can organize something like this again in the fall or something. :tup:

very few reasons for me to go to PA, this would be one of them. Unfortunately just about everyone but me is travelling at the moment, so I get to stay in the office and hold the fort down.
