Anybody have chassis diagrams for a '92 and '93 Typhoon? Specifically the page for the harness connection behind the the fuse block that connects to the engine bay? TIA
I had read the thread. A little farther down is the other thread he posted last year. The washer motor is my other issue as I have no power for it. I looked at my hacked up 93 harness and the power for the washer moter comes from A2. On the diagram it shows the alternator which leads to believe the diagram is not for a 93.I'm not sure what year that is, but it looks like 93. I didn't verify that though. Your right, there are differences between 92 and 93. I didn't think the wiper motor changed, other than the washer pump plug is in the 93 engine harness, and does not go through C100 to the lamp harness like it does on a 92. Frees up 2 connector positions.
This is a current thread with BoostedSUV and I discussing voltage issues. Mostly with his fog lights. Some good info on how to diagnose voltage drops, and some other stuff in there.

Dave
Thank you. I'm going to take a crack at it on tues. I also have the 92 headlight harness so I may end up swapping that too for the washer power. You probably have an extra washer connector on yours since there is one coming from the 93 engine harness.Tom now that Dave mentioned it and I'm thinking about it was a wire to the washer pump motor that was in the wrong spot. Regardless of which wire it was it caused the voltage to drop when my wipers were "off" because the wires were not in the correct positions for the wiper circuit. What you need to do is unclip the fuse box under the dash and pull it away from the bulkhead connector that goes through the firewall and connects to your engine bay harness. There is enough wire length between the back of the fuse panel that you can pull it away from the fire wall and examine the wires. Use the diagram Dave posted and compare the harness you have and verify the position of the wires. Any wire that doesn't correspond move it to the correct position. You just need to pull out the plastic retaining clips on the fuse box and the wires slide out and can be re positioned. You may have to unbolt the bulkhead connector at the fire wall to get a little more room. There are screws that come from the back side of the fuse panel that need to be removed to do so. They can accessed from the engine bay. Let us know how you make out.
I just went through it and everything on the engine harness side of this diagram matches the diagram in the 91 Syclone Service Manual SuppplementThis is not 'mine'. edit: mattw sent me this about a year ago, as part of a project he was working on then. It's kind of cool, I've always liked the color-coded boxes. As he confirms below, it is for a 93. But hope this helps. Dave.

I only meant the left side of the diagramYour issue is going to be on the cab side of the harness not the engine side.
Engine side.Tom which harness did you change? Engine bay side or the cab side? In my case I changed the cab side harness behind the dash. Either one you changed the wiper circuit won't match from 92 to 93. Just trying to figure out where exactly you should be looking. Maybe I'm confusing you?
That may be why the alt isn't being excited. I have leave for work. Like you said I'll match up wire colors and go from there.A2 "alternator" in the diagram, is the brn wire on the engine harness side that was never used in 91 or 92. So, it may have been removed in the 93 engine harness. I say 'may' because I'm not certain.
Get your washer power from M4 or B2.
Here's a hint as to how to approach these 'pin-out' issues. Use the wire colors, and circuit functions as a clue to what they are and 'do'. If the colors don't line-up, figure it out yourself. The differences are usually minor, involving only a few pins and circuits.
