Re: Simple Syclone Rebuild

I have same sandblaster. In my opinion its great new out of the box.

After a couple of neglected uses, it will become dangerious. Some one left sand inside it.
Moisture collected and rusted the inside. Feeding was poor... moving wet sand through hose. It had wormed out the ceramic tip. They work great dont get me wrong. if you dont take care of the sandblaster it wont take care of you. Just dont let sand sit inside.

Truck project looks great Keep Up

No no.

Dont get smaller tank. That is the one that is offered. I forget what i paied. I had various. Some small cabinet i got from my friend for doing gun parts. That is a good one. They dont get any smaller than that in that style. Pick one up like that. What i was saying is that they do need to be maitnenced. i guess what i should have said is empty them out before storage. I had blasted certian areas of the GTX and stored it with sand, and it created a problem. Clogging. I wasnt saying to NOT buy... [or get one difrent. thats the style to get. Just buy some medium... There easy, portable just run a line from your compresser like 50-75 ft what ever it is take the thing out back.. its loud. Just get that one there nothing wrong with them.

No no, I got your point. I'll get smaller one so it will be easier to empty when I'm done :)

always wanted to see what Mandi looked like & I :squint: partially did . Mandi I have the UT MOST RESPECT for YOU working on your own vehicle (especially a Sy @ that) most women don't have any drive to do so nor do they want it as they expect men to do it for them. As far as input on paint goes I think the solid raspberry would look killer sitting on those C5 'Vette wheels in Chrome or Black Chrome without question and get a set of those reflective Sy logos from gaugeprower to really set it of (if you go chrome) @ night . LMFAO Harrrd you're doing more work then most of us guys  Now I gotta get my piece(s) out and get something going to resemble a Sonoma GT again.

Sy logos from gaugeprower

you need to do some catching up. you might as well take your money and light it on fire, cause in the same manner, you'd get nothing out of the deal if you gave him money.

Thanks for the kudos! I'm actually going with black stockers (I'm over the vette rims, everyone has them) with black syclone logos on the truck

I'm not a big fan of black'ed out stockers/wheels in general but  that's what ya like/want so do it ;)

the black logos should show (maybe kinda look embedded into it?) pretty well against the raspberry .... nice thinking.

This should be good. How long is he there for? Is he going to paint the whole thing in one visit? If so, it's like one of those custom shows:lol: I'd say it feels like that in my garage but I am moving with the speed of an old lady with a shopping cart.

Can't to see it when its all done.

Looks like it still needs a lot of disassembling. Can't wait to see the results.
