Looking good man....Glad to see another SyTy guy has installed the AeroCatch hood latches before me. I have a set sitting here on my work bench waiting to be installed. Did you have any problems with the install? Any hints/advise you could share?

Thanks

I did mine about 5 years ago. I centered them down through the hood stops so they could be adjusted if needed. They fit nicely inside the under hood support so you don't see anything but a small hold that the pin goes up through. Hope this helps anyone that is installing these hood locks. I like mine...nice product.

Thanks for the info and for doing the research. All I need to do is order some of that tubing and a tig welder and I'll be able to make myself a nice set of upper A-Arms.

If you ever need the flat metal pieces cut again let me know.. I'll cut you a set for cheap.. I would just need a poster-board trace of that part or a dxf file if you are so inclined..

I've been researching TIG welders for a couple of months now and I'm having a real hard time deciding what I want/how much I want to spend..

Thanks for the offer. Renz is already working on getting some cut for me.

I have had a syncrowave 200 for about 2yrs now and love it. If I were to do it again id go with a dynasty though since I do alot of aluminum welding. I love my Miller stuff

How do you like the boost leash controller?

I like it alot. Wish it would read vacuum though. Very easy to wire in and setup.

I did the same as above. Worked perfect.

Got tired of grinding.

Im going to stop there until the rotors come in. Im on the fence of they are going to fit under a 17" wheel with the renz brackets. Probably going to have to mod them as well since every mm counts in my case.

And since the truck is going to be down for a few weeks I decided to pull the intake tube to add another meth nozzle. I have been running a single 14gph nozzle. I am running a base fuel pressure of 75psi with a 1:1 boost referenced regulator to push my 80lb injectors as hard as I can. According to my data logs im at 98% duty cycle. Given my data logs and my 1/2 track times, Im somewhere in the the 750whp range. That is all fine and dandy for me right now until I can afford to upgrade my fuel system for more boost. I do not like the 98% DC incase I get a boost spike for some reason.

Until that happens, Im adding another 10gph nozzle to add a little safety. Here is the intake tube with both nozzle bungs welded in.

Small update. Had another thread about my brakes but will add the updates here. I have another race coming up and the 4 piston caliper under the 17" wheel was not going to be done by then so I bought another set of calipers to throw under the 18" wheels. Also bought a set of repo Z06 wheels in 18" so they show off the brakes more than the wagon wheels.

Coated the brakes with caliper paint and applied Brembo stickers to them..

Rears all done with the 18" Z06 wheel. Still waiting for the other 3 wheels to come in.
