Well I have been gone for a while, and I apologize for not getting on here sooner... I don't have lots of time, due to a job that demands every second that I have free... Not only that but I have been in the middle of moving from Aurora to Lakewood and also getting my house in Aurora ready to rent... so needless to say, spare time hasn't been easy to come by... As for a race... Sure... I'm not much of a racer, but yeah we can.. I was talking with abe and he would like to get in on it to.. He's working to get his truck going and see what it can do... My Ty is tuned fine and I don't actually drive it that much due to being to damn tired when I get off of work... But it is Completly stock as Abe or anyone else that has seen it can attest to... SO when is the question>.... Well i guess it all depends on time... Work is slowing so I'll have more.... Let me know...

Yeah i was power braking but for some reason, on the way down to the track which is about an hour from home, my engine light came on. I kept on truckin cause everything felt fine. When i got there i started checking for codes and got a 32 (EGR thank god I remebered what 32 meant), I looked at the EGR circut and found that one of th vacuum lines blew off ( ODD ). So i put it back oin . At the tree, when i pulled up and the two top lights came on, I started trying to build boost, for whatever reason I could bearly get 1 PSI, normally on the road i can get 6. My TY kept trying to just take off. I t was pretty frustrating. When we left the track I was so mad and my wife just kept saying you need to do something to this thing so i hit a light and power braked it and it spooled right up to 6 PSI. I was like WTF. Maybe my truck doesnt like the track i dont know cause it felt like it was running like crap then we left it felt fine.

No video yet... Been pretty busy the past week. I'll contact the guy in C-Springs soon. I know he is pretty down on his performance right now, I am betting he wants to figure that out first.

Im not that down on performance. Ill still race ya. My truck just plain flatout felt like shit at the track. When I left it felt perfect. Im not much of a judge of 1/4 time but it had to be 1/2 sec faster i would think. I for some reason just couldnt build any boost at the track. Like i said before...left the track...hit 6 psi...ran like a raped ape. Did notice something the other day though. At WOT after 1st gear, my boost gauge fluctuates between 10 & 15 psi. Not too sure if this is normal but I would think not. But hey Ill race whenever. Rain, sun, SNOW, night, day, hot cold. I dont race to be the best, I race cause I love it. Im not a soar loser either, Im pretty honest actually. I may spruce up a story once in a while but no more than anyone else does.

Okay, what date do you want to shoot for? This weekend I'll be working on the car and I have someone visiting from back home, so it'd be a little difficult to work around that. next weekend should work though. Where would you like to meet? I don't think Pueblo is the plan now as Chris lives in Ft. Collins and not Pueblo, which makes it a long drive for me just to race a few times. I'm going to have even more power this time, about 75hp more actually
Tell you what, I'll call you. Sorry about not calling for the Grand Prix. I was dead on Sunday after spending all day Friday and Saturday out there, and working 12 hour night shifts those same days. I'm not doing that again. It was cool to meet Danica Patrick, but next time around, I'll be resting

The computer was retarding the timing around 8 degrees because of this. I've programmed more fuel and some timing now. I'm also installing another power adder this weekend(hopefully)

We used to have a 94 SHO auto midnight blue. Pegged the speedo in that car on I-5...we were going at least 145mph and it had plenty left. Those cars are fun as hell, but the trannies are weak, not unlike the Sy/Ty trucks. Oh yeah, front wheel drive sucks for dragging and that torque steer gets annoying. That car had the nicest leather seats of any car I've ever been in 8)

but on the flipside its stock for the most part and it has 18inch wheels and a light audio system to add weight......
hopefully ill be ready to race, and ill definatley be down for a denver area race!!!
