Im trying to figer out for next years home coming day to have it. I wanted to have it Not in June July or Aug. I was looking at Oct. but kids will be in school & alot of people will not pull there kids out of school to make A SYTY event, so I was looking at Beginning of Sept. Just trying to stay away from the heat as much as possible. Just seems like every year Home coming or Nats it is hot as Hell. So please help lettting us know when your kids go back to school or will pull them out to make the event no matter when it is.

i have no kids, other than my BADASS APBT aka Snoop, and he needs no schooling, just weight pulling training,

I think Michigan schools start on the Sept 9th for their first full day....... that being said I would assume that we would need to do it before that date to eliminate the need for people to pull kids from school. If after that date I know the month of Oct has no scheduled days off and November has Thanksgiving Break, a potential 4 day weekend and a Friday or two off to give three day weekends. Just figured I would share that info ....... maybe it helps.

my vote doesn't have anything to do with kids, but I will not pull myself out of school for any meets, especially not in the beginning or end of a school year, that just looks bad.

I voted "does not matter", but Labor Day weekend is bad for me. I have racing that weekend.

Ok this sucks if its in september.... I can't take vacation in that month as its student rush at work... so if its in september.. I am out..:(

I don't have to deal with school or anything but my mom is a school teach so I know she wouldn't be able to go and I know she likes going so that would be a problem.

Personally while at the nats I liked the weather at homecoming far better and like the date that homecoming has been. Except for the rain :D

If there is a vote I vote for same time as last yr :D

If you need it explained then nevermind.......so I assume you are planning on going to homecoming? Maybe I should rethink my plans...

maybe you should make comments that don't need an explanation in the future :tup:

and I'm not planning on going to anything until a date is set, but you can do whatever you'd like, I'm sure nobody will miss you.
