They lose value when you open them, but they display nicer when they're out of the package. So, if you don't intend on re-selling them some day, open 'em up! :tup:
I let my 7 year-old open a couple up and play with them. (the pimp gold one for example...which has the nicest engine compartment of all of them) I'm modifying another one...and when it's done, I'll post photos.

I say open them up and enjoy them. I did. I actually have one set opened and one set still in the package...BTW, the one in front on the left sitting on the license plate cost me $99.99, and its OPEN!
