I ran all my wires for lights, fans, water pump inside the the fenders. All my other engine sensor wire come out of the firewall behinh the motor and those that go to the front of the motor go through an opening in the intake. My power from the rear located battery goes throught the chassis box frame from battery to front. Because I run twin turbo headers, I can run my plug wires behind and down under. My coil is under the dash and uses a bulkhead coil connector.

All plugged in and running.
Of course this is not possible with the SyTy harness, as I started from a Painless harness and had the options to run wire and loom them where needed.
You can get yours fairly clean and uncluddered if you spend a lot of time and are willing to take connectors apart, cut and solder some wires, as Brian suggested. This is my AWD Ty with the SYTY harness cleaned up.

More recent pic from last night. Not greatest quality but you get idea. You can see how the core support is significantly cleaner now.
I also have done NOTHING yet as far as cleaning up wiring etc. Wanted to get ideas first before I started pulling wires apart, etc.

Put a screen under your throttle body elbow... if it's a standard 4bb intake converted I've already got one made for it I can send down. It'll ballance the air flow better to all cyl so hopefully one won't lean out and detonate.

Just cleaning up all the wires and looming everything would make a big difference. I have all the wiring on mine and some things moved around and you can see how it cleans it up.

I would also probably get the DP's Ceramic coated Black and then polish the JSM skull like I did on mine. Looks dang good that way and stands out.

Picture of Screen with GM Sealant and two gaskets on each side.
Back in my small block days this would add 30-40hp (3-4tenths) every time with smoother idle and better mpg. I just put one on my TBI pull truck... Sweeet.

The only thing I've ever seen a screen do on a bench is dramatically reduce flow.
I can see the application when you deliver fuel through a carb or maybe a TBI, but not on anything port injected.
There are much better ways to distribute flow.

Just put a polish sheet of stainless steel over everything held inplace with Deitz hood fasteners so when you open the hood, you can comb your hair and look kool doing it :rotf:. Unless you are bald, then you can polish the dome :tup:. That way you can still hide what you are running after a race, when they tell you to open the hood.

I'm doing a screen in the lower plenum of the wife's Ty with the forward facing Throttle Body.
It's the only way I can get the air anywhere close to even.
RJC sells Power Plates for GN's that even the air flow to the ports... I can't see screen being more
restrictive than this:
And these do a fantastic job of being able to increase boost due to even air to all cyl.

Are you doing flowbench testing to equalize airflow to all cylinders?
I'm almost thinking the screen helps atomize/distribute an air/fuel mixture more than helping equalize the airflow (no fuel) between cylinders, but what the hell do I know.

I took his method in a way of ballancing the air flow on my Maxima... which is darn near perfect... and now am doing the forward facing throttle body on the stock upper plenum.
It took alot of work to get the air to go where I wanted it on this intake I modded but I'm happy with it now that the screen is in place.
I'll make a entire thread about it when I get that far.. this week is going to be hell again but it'll be worth it. More projects gone and more stuff out the door.
