Re: Everyone keep ERUE in your thoughts
just got done with another surgery. i had the plates and pins and screws put in my leg. that fixes my knee and right heel. it was originally gonna be next week when i got the next surgery, but the swelling and pain went down a lot faster than anticipated so they moved the date. i was in a lot of pain yesterday, and had a hard time managing the pain. im really glad i just have to focus on getting better. i think that might be the last surery i have to have, depending on what th hand specialist says. im really thankful that i dont have to go back to the hospital. the ER and the surgeon and stuff were really great. although as soon as you get into the regular hospital care it SUCKS!!!! i couldnt get th nurse to come take care of me at all.....after hitting the help button it sometimes took an hour to get a nurse. my IV would stop working and the alarm would go off and it would take the nurse 45min to come look at it and then take another 20 min to fix whatever was wrong with it. to be honest i was still in a bunch of pain when i left the hospital, and i would have liked to stay an extra day, but i felt like i had to get out of there asap because they werent taking care of me. i was getting really angry, and i kept thinking i was gonna throw the IV down the hall if they didnt start paying attention to me. i dont know if its always been this way but hospital care is totally uncceptable. if i could figure out who to complain to id file a complaint in a heartbeat.
