DB MN Dyno

Re: DB MN Dyno

What's with the Baro, and MAP "HG" readings... something screwy there... I'd also do the ECM/injector power bypass to get your ECM voltage up to the alternator output...

I'd like to see another shot of this screen, zoomed in to that one particular run where the cursor is....
I can email the file..... Just hit me up.

Re: DB MN Dyno

When is the meth going to be used?

What was the average AFR at WOT?

No reason to go past 4500 RPM IIRC,power drops off. or was it 4000 RPM? Stock cam & heads?

I didnt need the meth. It just made things way to rich. All it did was cool intake temps down 20 degrees. It made no more power with it or without it. My AFR was rock solid at 11.5

Your gonna have to take fuel out and then add meth to compensate to make power, heres a quote from one of posts I made a ways back regarding tuning with methanol injection.

When I tune for meth I first set up the truck with race gas and get the air/fuel ratios in the 12-1 range at all boost levels. Once that is dialed in then I add about 2-3 points of meth.
so in the 10-1 range. Some even more I set up the last one to 12,5 then added a ton of meth so teh Bigstuff was pulling out 20% fuel to stay at 9.8-1. The more meth you can run the better.

I emailed cambell automotive about my dyno graph. They said that is a normal tourque and power curve on a stock truck. They said that my truck seems to be a little better than stock. They said stock they put out 220 whp. They seem to know what they are taking about.

I agree. Those are descent numbers for 14 degrees of timing.
From experience, bump up the timing to 16-18 degrees, lower fuel tables and add meth, you'll get atleast 50hp or more....
