I LOVE 4UM SUPERSTARS
Dont know if anyone has posted about this or not but I didnt see anything when I searched it. I did some searching and found this baby on ebay. I know Ill get some heat for this but its from a 2003 Ford Lightning. This is the perfect replacement pump for a stock intercooler pump. Its almost a direct replacement. Ports are in the same location and same size. As you can see in the pics, its substantially larger, fits in the same place with minor mods, still an automotive part, also made by Bosch like the original but heres the best part. The site I got it from claims it pumps 9GPM and only draws 2 amps. Heres a link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car...diZ2865QQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p4506.m20.l1116 I only paid $92 shipped. I was gonna do a HOW TO on this one but its been done so many times. I will just post the link to the best How to ive found on it and then put the pictures of my pump installation. I will say that to do this, you will need to buy a 3/4 heater hose with a molded 90 degree bend in it to place right at the discharge port of the pump. You will also need a fuel injector style plug. I clipped one from an old harness I had and then cut the wire off the old pump and made a pigtail connector with some new fuel injector terminals and the old fuel injector plug I had. To mount it, I just made a slot in the bottom of the original pump mount and put a larg hose clamp through it. Worked perfectly. This is pretty quiet too which was nice. This is the link to the installation for SYTY ARCHIVES
