Re: 5 pinion billet planetary for the 4472
Guess what I've got?

Lots of pictures coming and a full writeup as I assemble the units I have here. I have 4 I'm doing. Everyone else that just ordered the planetaries, those will go out first, and then those that ordered bearings, washers, bushings, those will go out last. If anyone is looking for the front case bushing, there was a HUGE error at Allomatic and the front case bushings for the BW4472/BW1372 are all WRONG. They made the INSIDE diameter of the bushing the size the OUTSIDE diameter was supposed to be.
What you need to ask for in the mean time is a front case bushing for a BW4404 transfer case. Fits PERFECT. As soon as all of those come in, I'll send those kits out. Sorry it's taking so long. I just want everything to be right when you open the box.
Lots of pictures. It's a gear heads wet dream, guys. These things are gorgeous.
Now, one thing to note. The bushings that are in the sun gear shafts were manufactured and trued up after being installed into the shaft. They were given .003" clearance. This means that you have to line the input shaft up PERFECT for it to slide in as the bushing was also made LONGER to give greater support to the input shaft. Same idea behind the wide bushings for the front stators of the 700 and the 80 and the sun gear of the 700. I've incorporated every single method of drivetrain stability into these units that I have been exposed to in order to make the best product possible.
Something I wanted you to know. You guys by doing this supported a small American "ma and pa" machine shop during a time when everything is going overseas to make it CHEAPER instead of better. Kevin is the owner and he was very particular and it shows. Every single unit was hand fit during the clearance check while I stood there. It was WORTH the wait.
