im hopping around on one leg. going to physical therapy every day. another 3 weeks and ill be able to put a little bit of weight on it. then i can really start focusing on betting back to normal. lifting weights and exercising and all that good stuff. right now everything sucks because all the dr will let me do is streatches and stuff. its so hard to do anything around the house. everything takes twice as long when your hopping around on some crutches. a simple shower and shave takes over an hour :(

i am a lot better off now. im not in a lot of pain anymore, just a little down that i cant do much. im filling my days with computer work and random other stuff i can do from a chair.

that sucks to here bout for anyone but its greatyour doing better. Where's your shop at in raleigh?

Oh thats horrible. Happy that the wife and kid are ok! Best wishes, you are in my prayers. I just talked to him on AIM this weekend. :(

OMG im so ****ing pissed!!!!!!!

i suspected the guy that hit my wife and daughter, and then hit me, was high a a kite. he had several previous arrests for drugs. he was arested and only charged with driving with a revoked license and carless and wreckless...... they didnt test him for drugs and he didnt smell of alcohol.

now look at this crap!!!!
yes its the same damn guy that hit me!!!!!!!!

That is un-f'ing believable! Our courts system is so screwed up and disorganized..... this guy should have been behind bars serving out a term... arghhhh!

I thought it was like standard procedure to drug/alcohol test ASAP after an accident Sounds like the police dropped the ball if they didn't test. I'd be pissed too

hate to say it but i'd consider negligance on the part of the cary police department for letting this guy walk away from anything.

he has been able to get out of the house, however he still really can't walk and the ligiments in his hands are still messed up.

slowly but surely.. he has at least been able to get over to the turbotime shop to say hi to everyone.

left hand and leg are mostly better...... sternum is much better, right hand and right leg are both still really screwed up. doctor wont let me put any weight on it yet, but im hoping when i go back next week he will let me put partial weight on it. i really miss being at the shop and working on cars. iv tried to do a few things hear and there and havnt had much luck at all. i can only stand up on one leg for a few minutes at a time which makes it impossible to do much. that and its easy to fall over when your ballancing on one leg. i have a handycap plate so i get front door parking everywhere i go. been spending a ton of time in the pool, and at physical therapy. i go to one or the other almost every day. im trying hard to do whatever i can to get better as fast as i can.

Gotta love the system. Im not one for BS lawsuits but that police department needs their ass handed to them. What are SOP's for if they dont follow them? They just dont give a rat ass most of the time....what a shame.
