Well I removed my Windshield Washer resovior so I put it there.

the battery tray loves to trap water in it and drip below...you better shield the thing if its going to be there.

you have to weld or bolt on a plate to mount the box to anyway so as long as you don't machine a hole in your plate and position it right under the existing hole in the tray you will be fine.

That was a picture of the Typhoon-C, not my truck. Russ built both mine (it was Russ's Typhoon) and the C so they look the same.. just mine didn't have another 100K in it.. LOL

I mounted mine on a plate beside the ABS on my older build. Worked great. I mounted it on an aluminum plate to dissipate heat.

I'm looking to add an MSD Digitial 6 ignition in the near future (as soon as I can get a good price on one),.

When you say good price , make sure it isnt USED . I bought a used one that was a dud and since its board is fully potted , they couldnt service it . Once the warrenty is up , all they can do is sell you a new one . Always buy new with warrenty !!
