after 2 weeks without working on my ty i drove after my work to my garage and looked into the stock engine

looks not bad inside but 2 pistons are very crap

like piston 4 and 2

passenger side

driversside

have anyone a info why the pistons look like this???

but i dont know powdercoating or por glisten pc clear painting!?

so yesterday i putted the frame off :rotf::rotf:


what a tricky job!!!

will start to strip the frame this week!

ive putted exhaust and the trans out

and here look a german "Bierkasten" in action!

the perfect transmission stand^^

then some new parts

and after some work

tomorrow i will strip more to cleaning the frame!

so taday i started to strip the frame,

then i need new room for more parts XD

then some screws that was rusty putted in a bath of vinegar cleaner

and the result is not bad!

sry didnt do a picture before !!!!

hope tomorrow is a better day with more results!

so after 4 hour with my grinder and me comes my decission. I will give the frame to sandblasting!

my question to you guys is how much cost the whole frame sandblasting in usa?

so yesterday ive drive to switzerland and buyed a glassblasted, galavanized painted frame from a typhoon !



here the frame on german autobahn^^ hahahah



and right now in my shop!



so hope i can make the whole chassi ready in 1 or 2 month´s

Roland blass from switzerland told me he had a ready frame and cant use it! So i drove to him and buyed the frame for a very good price!

So some parts come to me in the last days !

Now i need the lower ball joints!
And the belltech leaf springs!

Im searchibg for a set rear ls brackets!

So some sandblasted and painted with brunox epoxy

Damn i spend 4 hours for the parts ^^

hey,

tonight was a cool work night ^^

painted all the sandblasted parts with the topcoat!














and know a question to you guys.

i cant find this shaft seals from the steering knuckles




have anyone an idea where i can get those?


and i opened the front diff and see all bearings are bad! know where i can get rebuild parts?

today ive worked on the steering knuckles!

the paint on the controll arms and other parts was not dry
