How much lead time do you guys need? September 1st would leave 11 weeks till the event. October 1st leaves 7 weeks. I want to be wow'd with some serious jaw meat, but don't want anyone getting detained by TSA trying to make it to the event. :lol:

Wow, what a waste. They had so many possibilities, and they went from a full beard to just a mustache in 2 steps. Shoulda done some more stuff with such a good canvas.

So, how about this.
Fresh starts, clean shave on October 1st.
Head starts, trim up on October 15th.
I realize some of you will need to keep a beard, so the trim up option is there. No shaving after the above date unless you are facescaping something special like a Chin Muffler which requires shaving of mustache area.
Other rules:
No neck hair required to compete.
Full beard required to compete. Specifically, one sideburn must connect to the other sideburn by way of a path of facial hair.
Partial beard allowed for honorable mention (not eligible for overall win).
There will be a prize for the overall winner and something small for honorable mention winner (if anyone competes for it, if not, the prize will go to second place in overall competition).
Sound good? Thoughts?

Only problem with head starts is that everybody needs to trim to an equal length. I've started, but I can do the trim up on the 15th since I have a wedding that weekend. Although I would like to see just how unruly I can get before someone says I should trim it. ROFL.
