Re: She's back from the paint shop

If you opened the door, wouldn't the cladding hit something before the edge of the door ever did?

If the contact object were down low, yes. I try to exercise extreme judgment when around other objects but things can happen despite the best intentions. I view them as a cheap preventative. Wait until I install the 12" wire curb feelers..........J/K.

Well, I guess I beat you to the punch on this one! Liked the other comical items you listed from the past :). I saw Dobrick posted you ran into the 10's with your Ty down south. Unless he was drunk and seeing false numbers (which is a good possibility), congrats on your achievement.

The reason I asked about the hood was because I thought the fit was real crappy. The sides are much higher than the fenders.
After receiving my hood today I had the same problem. I trimmed the 4 rubber bumpers that ride on the sides of the hood. Now the hood sits like it should.
Just a thought for ya.

Thanks. This one fit perfect on the Ty. Look in the pic and the DS fits nice on the Sy. My issue is that there are two high pressure coolant lines that run atop the AC/Heater box and that is preventing the hood from sitting flush. I got the scoop back last night from the powdercoat shop and it looks awesome (great suggestion, Renz). It will go back on today and the coolant lines might get rerouted today as well if time permits. I'll slap another shot up with the new look but thanks for trying to help me get it looking perfect
