She's back from the paint shop

It is supposed to rain for the next few days so I thought I would snap you guys some pics today (even though the sun is hiding and the torch-fire red looks awesome in the sunlight). My tailgate latch goes in this evening and I need to re-route 2 coolant lines so the hood sits flush on the PS. I think I am gonna have a black tonneau cover installed next week rather than a fiberglass cover as I don't want the added weight. I decided to go with gray/black decals instead of solid black to change it up a bit. That should wrap up the facelift for my "titanic" :). Now it's ready to hit some car shows and the track....I wanted its looks to match its performance!

Re: She's back from the paint shop

constructive criticism: me thinks a black powdercoat on that IC scoop would look better.

new paint always looks so damn glossy.

Very nice!:tup::tup:
Where did you get the grey/black decals? When I get a sy, I may do darker grey stickers to match some dark grey wheels...

Paint looks great, but I agree with Renz on the scoop. Black it out.

I agree with Mike, get that scoop powdercoated black. Hood needs adjusting too. But awesome looking truck :tup:

if that truck has chrome "protective" strips on the back of the doors you my friend are up their with ed hess in putting useless ugly shit on your truck.

either that, or you are trying to appeal to a certain crowd.. I know Bdubb loves that chrome all over the place shit.

*edit* you should have painted the mirrors red too.

Appreciate it, Mike. I have a close friend that owns a powdercoating business here in Clarksville and since my under the hood items will be powdercoated over the winter, I think I will take your advice. Worst case if I don't like it is always to have him sandblast it off and then polish it out.
