well after a hour of messing with it and stripped torx bolts i got the roof rack off but somehow the pic got delete so you guys gotta wait to see that lol, also should be getting a quote this week for roof shaving and paint..
Also painted that white handle on back window black
also painted steering wheel black, now it wont stick out so much

bout hour and half or so.. the old ubolts were rusted on and after spending 45 min of trying to get the nuts either broken loose or off, i just ended up cutting the ubolts in half and it was straight forward from there

my donor motor is finally out of its old truck.. Me and my buddy built this truck from ground up in the garage pics were taken in, from the bodydrop to the air suspention to the paintjob.. now its time for him to swap a motor in.. and i get the old 4.3
thinking about atleast swapping the heads onto the current motor in the ty.. and "maybe" building this up a bit but mainly having it for a backup.. 146,000 miles she could blow any time lol i baby her though so we'll see
and heres the truck back town down.. getting a full frame paint and 350 sbc

So I put my egr back on last night and it runs a lot better. Also found out if I shift manually the trans doesn't slip threw gears

welp im bored and its late, gonna make a list of plans over winter and the next coming months...
- delete abs "possibly add line lock?"
- install heater only blower box
- Get roof shaved/painted along with front bumper
- Get in the high 11's!!!! thats my main goal for this performance wise, so uh any you guys got parts laying around, let me know.. i might just want!!!
- Maybe and i mean a BIG maybe, get the rear on airride... But we'll see

fully installed, still need to move a bunch of wires and clean them up..
in mean time i figured id do a check for vac leaks.. man oh man... im in for a fun one on this...

What did you have in place of the egr valve? I have a block off plate I won't need soon, it's still on sy 1177. Let me know if you can use it.

well i feel like ive made more progress in the past 3 days then i have since ive owned the typhoon.. i got the heater box installed and it was great i must say.. Then i started tracking down vacuum leaks and ugh.. Ended up getting the tb rebuild kit, i had a major leak on top where that 7th injector goes. I took that cover off and on probly 4 times before i had it mounted correctly since it was a tad to long which made the one end sit slightly higher and cause a leak, so a quick file down fixed that.. Next major was tb to intake, ended up getting that apart and the gasket was pretty much crumbled to nothing so got the fixed.. then egr was leaking horrible and im guessing the metal i used before was to thin and warped so i bought a 1/4 thick peice of metal and cut it to fit, and works great with no more leak!! Found probly 2 or 3 small more leaks here and there and got those fixed.. Also i tightened up the tv cable for the trans and sure enough the shifts are really solid and i dont have a problem from 2nd to 3rd anymore!!!!! ahhhhh so i took her out for a spin and she feels like i whoooooole new truck now, cant wait to datalog it and see the difference

If you do the pearl do it right. White diamond tricoat off the escalade would look tight. but then again theres nothing like clean WA5111, it practically glows in the dark.

itll be a base white.. been there done that with the pearl on my old 91 s10 i had.. faded yellow few months after being sprayed and it was a power clear.. i just wanna keep it simple for now on the outside, spend the money on the motor.. i have had thoughts of a flat white though after seeing a flat white tbss mmmm

sooo i will be receiving my turbotweek chip and 3bar map sensor today in mail, actually any time now so i decided to pull the old chip out and this is what i found... wasnt expecting this.. now technically, i can just pull the jet chip off and put the turbotweek on right...?
