Well bad news the typhoon won't be racing, I never could figure out the chip issue. The typhoon won't be there but I'm going to see if my z28 is fast enought.

Well, went to the dyno friday. made a few runs and my main power cable came loose from the strap on the frame and melted to the downpipe. So got that fixed. Got it back on the dyno and they wouldn't let me in the truck to tune. So i let the expert tuner try and work his magic.:roll:
This is the first run on the dyno....this was taken with my phone so it sucks.
Needless to say after 8 hours of trying he gave up..lol
The most hp the truck gave out was on my base tune @ 8psi...which was 424 hp at the wheels.
Ended up with the flue saturday so the weekend just plain sucked.
Monday continued tuning. Paul found a couple issues with my upper timing map and made some corrections. I took the truck for a ride down the road and it finally pulled nice to 17 psi. Then, the frickin powermaster alternator blew up:roll:.
So i dug out a stocker and took it apart and cleaned it. Painted the casing and put the shiny chrome pulley on it and BAM..done.
Hopefully tonight i can make some more progress with the tune and run her at 20 psi.
The schedule came out for this weekend. Looks like friday is for test and tune...only 2 pass's allowed then saturday is the main event with the cameras rolling.

Ok.......with the help of jeff scott tonight we where fine tweaking the tune. Pulled kick ass to 100 mph at 20 psi.:tup:
Finally found my issue with the speedo. With the help of davep i got the broken wire on the drac put back together and a new fuse put in to make tcc work correctly and the speedo. Only took 15 minutes from start to finish:tup:
2 more days left.....I love this stuff!
