Corbin, DO you think we could have sliders and refried beans?

NO.

Anything that has the most remote possibility of inducing flatulence is hereby prohibited from the mini wrench session.

Beer is exempt from this rule.

I'll be redoing everything under the hood... including the turbo... I've been looking at some places that rebuild turbo's. I don't want to upgrade but figure mine could use a freshening up...

Next thing I need is the rods... then thats about it for the big expenses... (i think) Still need all the gaskets & bearings...

Ooops...almost forgot about the heads... Hopefully I'll be gettin' together with Brian next wknd, (thats when I was going to check out that car) to discuss the L35 head buildup... he said that's going to run a few bucks..

I've already all the money for the actual machining & labor at the shop, so it's just a matter of buying all the shit. Then actually pulling the motor.. that oughta be a pain.

so far I've bought... pistons, rings, freeze plugs, apr bolts, high pressure (exchanging for high volume) oil pump, & some other crap I can't think of right now... :D

you can bring the parts so they can tell you what they are.
LOL!!!!!!

If you're gonna ride with me, you better be here on time! 0X Hey Corbin, if you have some land out that way, I could always haul the Z400 (quad) down there to blast around on in between wrenchin. :D

Sorry Brian, but even though we're out in the country, we only have a couple acres. Now if you want to blast up and down the rural back roads on your quad near my house, that's up to you. :D

Anybody know if Jesse got his flight changed?

Wow, sounds like you guys got some hardcore wrenching lined up. You can count me in (work permitting of course) :D ! I highly doubt my truck will be back together in 5 weeks time. After I pulled my transmission for the second time and stored it away for the winter, things kinda snowballed and I started ripping all kinds of stuff off. Just hope that I can remember where all the parts are when it comes time to put it back together :-?. Maybe it's for the better because my truck didn't like my "trademark" 425 plus pounds of tools that I usually take with me to wrenching sessions in the keystone state (got rub marks on my rear cladding from suspension bottoming out to prove it :( )...

Hey Corbin, where exactly are you in Hillsboro? That way, I can check it out on mapquest. Since I will be syless, I will prolly make the journey in the 3/4 ton Chevy company truck. With regards to the bonfire, I can bring a bed full of skids. We have a TON of them around the shop and we use them for bonfires all the time. Burn really nice, fire GOOD :p ! And just so I'm up to speed, is this going to be a one day deal or what?

I'll PM all you guys my address and directions. Mike, bring all the skids you can- we'll light em up. I'll try to round up some firewood as well. I figured we'd wrench during the day Sat, then get crazy Sat night. Again, you're welcome to stay here since you live so far away. As long as you don't have any contagious foot-funk, the shower/bathroom is open if you guys want to freshen up. :)

Don't worry though- I'll make sure Mike H uses the garden hose outside. Oh -somebody stop me!!

I am about 45 min from Corbin and have a spare room/couch for anyone Corbin can't accomodate. Hell, it may be warm enough to crashin a tent in late April. I also have a trailer load of wood for burning.

Mike, why don't you glue some SY labels on that company truck until you get yours back together, That way you can at least fit in at the get togethers.

You know how it is, as long as you guys never see my truck, you'll never know that I don't actually own one anymore... Makes it easier to keep up the facade ya know  .
