Back to the Track with new Setup

Back to the Track with new Setup

Going back to the Track in a few weeks. Will be installing my Coilovers this week which should net me 50lbs off from last year. The Ty definetely feels faster than last year with the new 3200 Vigilante/Built trans. I was struggling building boost with the stock converter and now I can build whatever I want in a few seconds. I will have my Limiters back in and hopefully I don't spin too bad.

I will be running the same tune as last year, 20psi with about 22-23* advanced timing. What ET do you guys think I can get now with the new converter? Hoping for 11.9 or better.

You should be able to crack it in the 11s! Just gotta keep it from spinning! And don't forget to manually lock the convertor!

Thanks guys! I don't think I'll be manually locking the converter. Kinda don't wana hack up the wiring and add a switch.

only need to run wiring and a toggle to the aldl port for the lock up . the tcc lock up will happen in second gear . dont know the excact pin locations. but it's been discussed many times . good luck at the track hope you hit that goal .

Top Left to Top Right. Same as a GN.

I understand what he's saying though; if he's logging using the ALDL then really he'd need to splice behind the ALDL connector.

What about uisng a paperclip right before the race?

can't you cut up an ALDL cable and wire a switch into it. Then plug it in at the track.
