Tomorrow night I will be racing the Ty for the last time this season. It will be about 50* so it should run well. Earlier this year I had some problems with the Alky kit and could only run 14psi safely on pump which is now fixed.

I'll be running 20psi with about 22-24* of Timing. Hopefully I'll be in the mid 12's. Still on the Stock Torque converter so building boost will be the issue. Will do the best I can without cooking the trans.

The Ty pulls a lot harder than last year with the Stock Turbo. Hopefully I get a good enough base line to compare to next seasons Built Trans/2800 9/11 Stall/2step.

Which track do you run at? We are getting a LOT of rain here in St Louis right now ... are you going to be dry tonight? ---

I run at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove WI. Right now it's showing 40-50% at 5-6 and 10% after that. Hopefully it doesn't rain and they still stay open. I'm at work right now and my Dad went to get the trailer so we are going as soon as I get home and hope for the best.

Got a new Personal Best!Since it was about 40-50% chance of rain, we were crossing our fingers it didn't rain so I can get a run in. Well, it turned out to be a great night, just a tad cold in the low 40s.

Right off the trailer I ran a 12.83 @106mph with no boost launch (2.0 60') Next pass was a 12.77 at 108mph with a 3-4psi launch (2.0 60') Tried a 5psi launch and got 12.70 at 107mph (1.93 60') Did 2 more runs with similar results. Just couldn't push more outa the truck with the stock converter and running 20-21psi.

Well, since I installed Front End Limiters this season to prevent Squat from last years spinning Launches, they weren't benefiting me at all since my Launches this year were bogging the RPMs down anyways. I told my dad I couldn't push the Truck anymore and loaded it up on the Trailer. I was determined to get a better time with all the Time/$$ spent on the new combo so we took the Ty off the Trailer and took out the Limiters to get it to squat in hopes of a little spin to keep the RPMs up.

And the verdict is::::

12.31 @ 108.65mph with a 6psi launch and 1.74 60'. Unbelieveable for a Stock converter and 63mm. The best 60' last season was 1.79 spinning with the Stock Turbo.

A VIDEO will be posted soon. Lost 6 tenths and gained 5mph from the Stock Turbo. I'm very proud of my Typhoon! Almost 100k miles on the clock and still shifts hard as hell and pulls like a monster. Next year will be more of an animal with the Built trans/2800 stall and 2step/ Coilover.

That's really good. Great for still having a stock converter.

You will be well into the 11's once you get that new converter.

that was a cool vid. i have such a long way to go to reach that point. my truck is stock, but anyways congrats on the hard work and great payoff
