Visited my brother in Columbia SC this weekend and on the way home Saturday, we hit a "coffee and cars" event in Charlotte, NC with roughly 450 cars present. Folks show up there on the first Saturday of each month and it was a blast. Ran a guy on the way there in a modded GT500 from a 45 mph roll and stayed with him until about 110 in the LSx Sy. It even got alot of attention there with some cool comments. Here's a couple pics.

They had Supra's, Porsche's, Lamboghini Countachs, Ferrari's, Acura's, Ford's and Chevy's galore but ONLY 1 GMC Syclone :).

Cool. I put the Sy in a very popular local show put on by the local ECA on fathers day. (Engineering Contractors Association.) It's held in a beautiful local park, oak trees, cars on the grass. Just shy of 400 gorgeous cars. Short of a local Peggy Sue cruise and show which the Sy is to new for it's probably the best around.

That flame car would definitely cause a second look if I saw it driving down the road! Looks very real.

You people posting vette photos are not helping my vette-itch....:rant: ;)

What was the cool part was that the flames were a vinyl graphic that is applied over the paint, just like a clear bra and can come off without damage to the original paint. Didn't see it moving but the promoter there said it was a 3D application so when the car is moving, it looks like real fire :diunno:

Bummer! Would have liked to have chatted some with you. Might be back the first of September to take my Notchback there after Chris Tooten custom tunes it. He is in Columbia and is superb with the Accel, FAST and BS3 systems. If so, I will holler at ya then.

Shaun take a look at the shops in moresville by me,lot of very very good mustang shops
