Hoover goes 10.19 @ 133 and change!

Jim Hoover called me last night from Memphis Motorsport Park. Matt had just went 10.21 @ 134.4 and later called back that he had went 10.19 @ 133 and change with a 1.51 60 foot time I believe. He reckons somemore suspention tweaking will get a 10.0 shortly. The only things he has changed since the nationals was a new set of BFG Drag Radials, the old ones were almost 9 years old! He removed the front swaybar and had the converter tightened up a notch. FWIW he was running 22 lbs of boost so there's more left untapped. :lol:

Yes, those are are HRE Model 304 if I remember correctly. I ordered those in 1995 so my mind is a little fuzzy. They're 17 X 11 and 17 X 9 rear & Front respectively. HRE no longer makes them so Hoover has the exclusive on them now. Mike

PS Hover 1/8 mile was 6.55 @ 107mph for those that like the details.
