Fastest Stock Turbo SY?

SYTY SUPERSTORE
sounds like the nitrous is plumbed to your brain and not the motor. 11.87 @6500 ft. is like a low low 11. Pretty hard to imagine anything with a stock turbo going that fast. Maybe a corrected 11.87 I could belive with a grip of nitrous.

I agree, the newcomer has made wild claims but done nothing to build credibility, and on top of that, makes jokes to perhaps indicate he is some type of prankster?

Hum?? Was the bottle a bitch to set up and run right with the Sy. I have ran the bottle on some bikes and that in itself can me a pain in the ass. I have a hard time even trying to imagine boost on top of it.

I was planing on using nitrous with my Ultimate 3 bar chip. Do you recomend a dry system or wet system? Boost levels will be in the 16-24 range. What safe HP shot for that range would you recommend with your years of experience?

The best and safe-est way to use NOS is WET-DIRECT-PORT system. Even that, I wouldn't dare to use on a Sy/Ty. I've used NOS on my previous car and have no problem. That car now have 180+K miles and still is my daily driver.

I have never used a dry system. Your truck must be tuned and running perfect before you add nitrous. I have always had good luck with NOS brand systems. I recommend calling there tec dept.(start with the small pills) I spent many days testing and tuning. Once you get it setup it should work without hurting anything.

Oh, I totally plan to have my truck tuned perfectly using datamaster and fellow enthusiats here. As for the nitrous, i was planning on a 35-50 adjustable shot. Using a throttle activated swith that progressively releases the metered misture into my engine. so a wet system it is the, right. will the 3 bar ultimate pick up the slack in fueling for the small amount of nitrous? oh, and NOS all the way, not for the name, but because of the name. It has been established and is in good standing with many people i know. there website scares me though, there are many typos.lol.

My Truck Ran 13.4@99 and the only mods i have on it are nitto 550's and a dropin k&n. But i had a freind of my do a bunch of tuning to do this but no new parts.
Now i jUst got a Trick custom air intake with polished peices running by the air dam to the turbo with took a heap of time off. My runs are late at night with 40degree temp and clost to sea level. I live in arizona

I like your response to my question. How right you are. "error=$$$". What type of vette setup? How was your truck setup? Did you have the nos jetted real rich? Ive heard to go a couple larger on the fuel when your running forced induction also.

Its really cheap power so far I have veered away from it on the syclone, but am not affraid of it.

I dont want to be the one to blame if it breaks. I'm sure my truck was set up totally different than yours.(they are all different if you work on them)Call nos and see what they say DO WHAT THEY RECOMEND.
I use a tpi corvette plate system.
GOOD LUCK!!! I wish i could help more but its one of those deals where you need hands on.
