Fastest Stock Turbo SY?

I used to think that was me at 12.4 @ 106, and you with a 12.4 but a lower mph? Wouldnt our hardcore drag racing friend Chuck conform to the above while running a 12.0?
Rick out in Cali has a "claimed" stocker that does 12.2s with drag radials and race gas mixed with 93 octane (I used to mix as well). He has done some interesting tricks I hear, running an ATR chip to boot.
Some others were getting real close to 12.4s, I am hoping we knock it down to at least beat the 12.2 Rick ran.
Anyone got a timeslip close to or faster than 12.4 with the above hardware? Be cool to see us stockers get a few more tenths..

You have me beat ET and MPH my best was 12.49 @ 104.9 or 105.1 at 1500 feet
But I did Back up the MPH at GB with a 12.5@105 and that track is at 2,200 feet, how much does elevation really matter?
What is the elevation at Kilkare? 800 feet

Charles Blossom went 11.90@115.01 Oct99 Clermont,Indiana in the AT/SA class. The truck must weigh 3550 plus 170 driver.
He also went 12.09@111.27 Jun00 Brainerd,Minnesota in BT/SA which has to weigh 3810 with driver.
Doesn't he have headers, converter and DFI?

Yep, even though these two trucks are in stock eliminator class, it really isn't a bone stock deal... You can replace the ecm with a programable one, gears, headers, injectors ect... I have the rulebook right here... I think the gears are even changed out to 3.73/3.90's...I will be in Montgomery, Al. this weekend for the div. 2 points meet and I hope to see at least one of these guys running...and putting the smackdown on a couple of dodges that I know...oh yes, L35 rods are allowed along with certain forged pistons.. rpm range has been moved up to about 6k...
The fastest Stock Class SY I think was mine ran 13.4@99 at KCIR in 2000
I think Troy went 12.9 with an ANS and no cat back.
He has a built motor now!
Without getting around the Stock Chip I do not see how one could go faster than 13.2, how do you plan to do it?

Kris, I went 12.91@103.88 on the stock chip. This was the week after my distributor starting giving me problems, and I was blaming them on the Ultimate. Took the truck out to OSW and it let me run 18 psi, just not over the stock rev limit. I had to shift into 4th at the 1000ft and I did not lock the convertor. I was using a year old stock Typhoon chip BBZB1580. I can't explain the boost thing, I just know what happened to my truck. Later, Christian

Kris, I have already went 13.36 @ 97 MPH with the stock chip and the only mods of drop-in K&N, 160 thermostat, 3" ATR full catback exhaust with original catalytic converter. I still have the factory original IC pump. Here is what I have going for me, to run faster. When I ran 13.36 my boost was hitting low points of 12 PSI. If I solve that, that's 3 extra pounds of power. Also, I was using factory original 12 year old SVX tires that were bald in the front and launching at 1 PSI caused wheelspin from the left front tire enough to generate "burnout rubber" in the wheelwell. I have brand new ViperHX tires now and plan to launch much higher than 1 PSI. In addition those runs were made after 50 minutes of idling with the engine on. If I can run with a cooler motor it might be worth something. Finally I was getting as high as 4.6* knock retard. If I can solve that, that's that much more timing to make the run with. So put that all together and I think I can come close to a 12.99 pass. I mean the tires alone will gain at least a tenth. But I won't know until I try! :grin:

Darons truck is fast - I have seen it ...
Ricks truck is faster. Ricks is stock , low mileage (10,000 miles or so). All kinds of stuff wrapped under the hood. Pitbull chip . Runs his I/C though the heater core and uses the A/C to chill it before a run... Straight though exhaust , and he always runs 100 octane. He ran around 12.4 on the stock tires.. with my drag radials he ran a 12.29... his truck pretty much rips on the street and track. I diacomed it - and it had about 1 degree of knock at a shift at 18 psi.
Torreys truck was also very fast with stock turbo and trans in the mid 12's
This 11 second pass with the stock turbo and trans at 119 mph @ 6500 feet I would have to see...are you spraying ?
I have run 11.85 @ 113 in a Ty at Sea Level in a Ty with a lot of mods.
