Check out the new hood

Just threw this bad boy on this morning and I'm lovin it!! :multi:
It's a 2" GoodMark from Rick at RK Kustum.

It was a piece of cake gettin it on, everything lined up well and it only took about a 1/2 hour to get it all done. So it's off to the paint shop within the next few weeks and while I'm gettin the hood done I'm just gonna get the whole truck repainted and ditch the roof rack. It's gonna look PIMP when it's done. Can't wait!

I like the way mine looks, but I didn't really care for the fit.
Mine has to much gap (IMO) between the fender and the hood.
I still love its' looks though.

PS: Mike, you can even up the hood line with the fender line (pass. side) by turning the round hood bump stop CCW.

Thanks man. I'm just gonna get it done the same colors. Blk/Gry. But I want the blackest black I can get. Any recomendations? I'm ready to spend at least 4k on the whole paint job/body work. I still haven't found the place I want to get it done at yet but I've narrowed it down to 2 shops. By next week I should have all my shit in order and know exactly where it's it's getting done and for how much. And I'm keepin my ventshades. I love those things.

Yeah, the fit isn't totally perfect but I didn't really mess around with aligning everything that much. I'll try turning the bump stop and see if that fixes the pass side. I'm not all that worried about it being perfect right now. It's all gonna be taken off and sprayed soon anyway, so I'll let the paint shop worry about getting everything perfect when she's all done. If I'm dropping all that coin on it, everything better be fuckin perfect.

I think you should paint it "E Rue dream girl black" I dont think it gets any blacker then that. The only problem with that color is things such as light will be unable to escape it could potentially become the end of the earth or the whole solar system. :lol:

Nice Ty! Nice wheels and I like tho hood too. Somehow these cowl hoods look much better on Ty's than on Sy's. Bdubb is right, lowering would improve the stance dramaticaly.

On a side note... Am I seeing blue leds behind the signals in the bumper!?
