Boost

Wierd sound from truck when boost apply.
Sounds like the air filter is innside the truck
Sounds like the pressure is leaking out.
I run with Datamaster the pressure is abouth 14,5 psi at WOT
I got a Auto Meter turbo gauge and its reading 14.5 psi at WOT

Any tips:D

External wastegate needs a higher boost pressure spring in it (IF you are running an EWG) :dunno:

Re: Boost

Check the section that connects the intercooler and the throttle body. Also, the hose that comes off the turbo to the IC. Look for visible holes/rips/cuts/tears.

Re: Boost

Just a thought...has your air filter been moved to near the passenger side fender, where the puke tank used to be? If so, it is normal to hear intake noise/turbo whine inside the truck. The fender pipes the sound down into the passenger side footwell and right into the cabin.
I would still do the pressure test as recommended, to be sure.

Re: Boost

Hi.

The air filter&alu tube is RPM style puke tank possision so its possible.

New turbo to intercooler hose, connection intercooler - trottle body looks ok

Under the trottle body is two alu tubes (idle speed motor) thats is open inn the trottle body's inntake side

Re: Boost

Hi.

Do a pressure test, and its leaking on trottle body shaft and big leak at EGR valve
with i open trottle.

Throttle body shaft will always leak some air, usually not large enough to make a difference. You can get an aftermarket throttle body from Professional Products.

Once you open the throttle blades, you have tons of way for air to escape.... well, 6 of them anyways. ;)
