Who here on sy/ty has the biggest turbo and what size? i was looking through the paperwork of the ty i just bought and he has an ATR book on mods you can do for sy/ty(picture below) and i saw a page that said they can make turbos up to 950 cfm. he also has a page in there that has a SYTY Garret Turbo kit. says they can make turbos up to 80mm. damn.

lol , thats , what my turbo is its a 1000cfm turbo or maybe im wrong it might be a 950 cfm one , i forget . thats where we got it from though :tup: . i have that article

how do you like it? once i get the money i think i'm gonna get a 950 cfm. not sure yet though. i need to do a lot of stuff haha.

It hasent been tested since we put it on . My dad had alot of stuff done to it
( when it was his) but he never really tested it or took it to the track . I havent tested it yet because it still needs to be tuned , and at the moment has no interrior . So to be honest im not really sure , i'll be able to tell ya when its done if ya want , but it might be a while :lol:

well the engine is allready done and just needs to be tuned . The interrior needs to be redone , and im leaving most of it stock expect for the seats and maybe a nice steering wheel . When I get the money I want to get a hard tonnou cover and get 2 inch drop fiberglass leaf springs. It needs a repaint , so im going to paint it gloss black including the cladding.

nice man...that's going to look clean when it's all finished. the gloss black is going to look really good. haha yeah this is a little off topic. oh well...well...once i get some more money i'm going to put $1k into it and get it into the 12s...(speaking of...does anyone have that list? i can't seem to find it). and then i'm going to get some wheels and put in a nice system. then from there i might change some internals and get a bigger turbo. not sure what size yet though. it's gonna take a couple years to do that though. i need to get my windows tinted too.

Im located on Fire Island new york, I live at the beach...

one of the mods I would recomend is some kind of chip so you can turn up the boost. because i think the Typhoon's boost was set pretty low , i think i read 8lbs somwhere but im not sure.

1000 CFM @ 2.5 density ratio (22psi)
I will never run that much boost of course(well...) but this compressor
puts my max torque and max hp on either side of the 76% efficiency island

Jason Leach`s truck has a Precision PT-91 and everything associated with this truck is one of a kind/custom.
