Although i know of a few trucks with mid frame turbos, i think Robert is the only one making the power they are supposed to..
In hindsight all the ATR turbos are small. Their te44 was a monster turbo back in the day, whereas now that is a slight upgrade to use with a stock torque converter.
Today big shaft T series turbos are common place. 66-74mm. You will also notice a shift from a CFM rating to a more accurate lbs/minute like pictured in a post above.

I think the same thing , if its 2wd its just a turbo s15 or jimmy and no longer a syty
