Couple of quick questions as we have some last minute hurdles to jump on the autocross (something out of our control has dictated some changes). Please reply below if you plan on running the autocross. Please only reply if you know you are going to run (assuming your truck is healthy, etc...):
1) - Are you going to run?
2) - Are you comfortable working the course (see description below)?
3) - Is your participation dictated by a potential trophy or reward for placing in the Top 3 or would you still run if there was nothing to gain at all?
4) - Given the time, would you like to ride along with someone else to learn the course and how autocross works/feels prior to you running on your own?
Working the course simply means that we'll break the group into two heats and while one heat is running, the other heat will be "on the course", working. Working entails occupying a station (section of the course), and notifying the timing tent that a penalty needs to be enforced on the truck on course. Penalties are enforced from hitting a cone and knocking it outside of it's box (if this happens, you'll responsible for placing the cone upright, back in it's box), shortcutting or omitting a section of the course, and from lack of safety (we'll perform a tech session, but anything can happen).
