i was at my ex's house and i seen a black sy drive by that sounded nasty.. pulled on the street from stoplight and laid into it, i drooled in my tracks.. i think it was from RR at the time.

Waller's 8k mile Syclone in the Spring of 1997 and then (while on a mission trip in Alaska) Pete Gardepe tossed my 17 year old ass the keys to his Typhoon (white/grey back then) later that year. Let me burn 1/4 tank of gas and boost launch a couple of times. Met Hunter and Jamie that same day. Still on my Top 10 cool guys list.

Royal blue, but close I guess. :tup: I remember driving by a body shop there in Spokane, with a very-wrecked Sy sitting outside mid-90's. Actually drove a Sy for the first time in '98. Wouldn't own one til 10 years later.

First time I ever saw one was at Apple Blossom in Wenatchee in the summer of 93 or 94. I was riding shotgun in my buddy's brother's brand new Vette, when a guy pulled up next to us in an S10 Blazer with a body kit. We laughed, they launched, we stopped laughing. That about sums it up.

I was in high school, owned a 84 S10 I was making a sport truck. Read all about Syclones but never laid eyes on one until I went on a ski trip in spring of 92, stopped at a DIllons grocery store in Denver, there was one sitting in the parking lots sitting in there snow...I jizzed in my pants. :crazyeye:

I was riding with my parents around 94 when I saw a Black/Grey Ty next to us in traffic. We didn't have the internet at the time, but I never forgot how nasty that Typhoon was. Eventually came across them online and then syty.net in '01.

it had to be in 1998 or 1999 . i was at workn at hoffman laroche in clifton nj on rt 3 . eating lunch i hear a slam by the road. it was a white ty that just hit something in the road . i saw the driver stop get out and rip something out from under his ty . he was pissed and took off like a rocket , ive never seen a vehicle launch like that . i have wanted one ever since

OOps. Missed the color. That body shop you saw the Sy, was it on east Sprague? Might have been Glamour, next to Can-Am auto body. He owned a Sy, and it might have been a totaled he fixed from some 16 year old kids first vehicle.
