watch the Camaro video & you'll see where I push through. I didnt red-light and am suprised I didnt. I had an LS kit but sold it a few months back. Yes I was putting it in neutral while holding the brakes then moving it to Drive. THe only thing is there wasnt much time after pre-stage & stage to build much boost.

What do you mean there wasn't much time? You have all the time in the world, the tree won't start to drop until your fully staged....Next time do the rev in neutral right before you pre-stage, then start to build boost and let off the brakes just enough to pre-stage and stage....Don't worry about your r/t, sit as long as you want to build the boost you need...Your 1/8 or 1/4 mile time does not start till you move.....

I'm not a seasoned drag racer by any means & this is the 1st time I've been to the track in 6 years.

Light up both bulbs while the ****** is doing his burnout.Put in N foot on brake tap the gas x2.Start building boost and leave on the last amber(I mean with tires that actually have sidewalls)

As a courtesy you can let the guy know you are gonna double bulb him before you do it,and even ask him if he doesn't mind. :)

Or as mentioned earlier, you can sit at the light as long as you want. Reaction time doesn't count for or against your ET.

My post was only to help or "give pointers" to you about your 1/8 mile times, which is what you asked for. Never intended for it to come across arrogant or rude. If it did, my apologies....I see a lot of guys that think they have to hurry up and rush to stage, then not have time to even think about how their gonna launch. Next time don't rush and your 60' will improve quite a bit.
I also agree with the rear disk conversion not helping to hold boost with the brakes, they are great for stopping, but not great for holding under boost. Take that money and get a good set of stock wheels and 4 drag radials, those 20" wheels are not helping the situation at all.... Hope this helps....

No offense taken. I wish I would have had a bit more advice before the races but no biggie.

Next time you have the wheels off pull the drums and make sure you dont have a leaky axle seal or wheel cylinder. I also notice that when I build boost I slowly roll into the throttle instead of stabbing it while trying to build boost. You may sit at the light a little while but you'll get quicker at it the more you practice. Your 60 foot times are costing you a half second at the minimum. With that mph my ZZ4 Sy ran a 8.6 I think and a 1.8 60 foot time.

Code what?
Get you a set of stock wheels with Bfg drag radials Jay. I ran 8.3 in my Ty with 16psi on a pitbull chip. Bolt on L35's and the forge gate where my only mods besides intake and cat back.

Would there be a altitude correction there?
