Re: 93 Green/Grey Hartford, CT on Copart

Need to have a dealers licence.

This is probably at the New Britain lot which is less than 5 minutes from my house. I can go take a look, but without a dealer's license it's nothing that anybody here can deal with.

Looks like it's got some cancer on the back gate.

If you can get access to it, try and get some pictures. Granted it's going to have a salvage title, but it looks like a damn decent project truck.

I'm actually not sure it has a salvage title unless in CT the following statement means salvage. "CT CERTIFICATE OF TITLE"

That is a bid someone already put in. You are allowed to put in a starting bid even if the auction didn't start that way it goes faster. Otherwise the increments are 25 dollars and that will take some time. I will keep my eye in as well.

I went over there today but apparently they're not open on Saturdays. I'll have to try to get over there Monday before work.

I'm a dealer, have an account on Copart. Its on "Approved Sale" I'm assuming its a public consignment. Certificate of title usually indicates that its clean (I don't know about CT as I'm in AK) Its too far for me to be interested in it. Usually the public can come in and pay a small fee to bid & purchase vehicles but only allowed one per auction/per month.

I have a feeling no one is going to say anything but just curious whos bidding on it? I keep seeing the price going up and up.

Regardless of who ever gets it, I hope she goes to a good home and is returned to her former glory...and isn't destined to be a parts truck.

Good Luck, bidders

I thought by now i would be posting up some pictures of a green typhoon in the garage next to my white one but unfortunately being the highest bidder at the end of the auction wasn't good enough. It had to go through an approval process which got denied. The truck is back on the auction block tonight at 9pm EST starting at the 3100 i thought i won the truck for. I'm going to pass but just wanted to let everyone know if they were interested.

So a truck being sold "as is" that doesn't even run has a reserve?

Was $3100 your winning bid they didn't accept?
